
Major General Yehuda Fox, the commander of the IDF Central Command, today (Friday) signed a demolition order for a house owned by senior Hamas leader Saleh al-Arouri in 'Arura, a town near Ramallah.
A military official told Israel National News - Arutz Sheva that "the situation has changed. We are fighting with all the tools at our disposal against Hamas-ISIS. Terrorist operatives, houses, finances and businesses - we will continue to arrest, damage, and destroy anything related to the murderous terrorist organization even in Judea and Samaria."
Overnight, significant forces from the IDF, the Shin Bet, and the Israel Defense Forces arrested wanted persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activity and confiscated weapons in many locations throughout the Judea and Samaria Division. As part of the operation of the forces in the sector, 36 wanted persons were arrested, of which 17 were Hamas operatives.
During a counter-terror operation in Jenin, terrorists shot and threw explosives at the forces who returned fire. During the exchange of fire, Eyser al-Amar, an Islamic Jihad terrorist terrorist and a resident of the Jenin refugee camp, was killed.
In Qalqilya, a store whose owner expressed support for Hamas was demolished and security forces came under fire while conducting counter-terrorism activity.
Since the beginning of the war, approximately 1,030 wanted persons have been arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria Division area, over 670 of whom are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
