MK Elazar Stern (Yesh Atid) has reported receiving a threatening phone call, the anonymous caller threatening the lives of MK Stern and his family.
On Monday, Stern granted a radio interview, following which he received an anonymous call during which he was told, "You are inciting against the government. If you continue, you'll get a grenade thrown into your home."
Stern reported the incident to the Knesset authorities and filed a police complaint. Just a few hours later, police succeeded in locating the suspect who confessed during interrogation.
"This incident is yet more proof of the very real danger posed by inciteful discourse and the violence that can be caused," Stern said.
"I call on all members of the coalition to lower the flames and condemn all expressions of violence, no matter where they may be found. I would like to thank the police for their swift and professional efforts in locating the criminal who will be brought to face justice."
